For the artist, it is important not only to study the physics of the "known" color, but also to observe the perception of the "visible" color of the human eye.
So, for example, white flowers are seen early in the morning yellowish, in the day - bluish, in the evening - reddish and perhaps even greenish.
Simultaneous contrast is important for everyone who works with color. The artist often intuitively feels a harmonious or dissonant combination of colors. In situations of doubt, the correct solution helps to discover a preliminary sketch and theoretical knowledge, under what conditions are simultaneous vibrations and how they can be avoided. Goethe called the simultaneous contrast "the first quality of color, which makes it possible to use it for aesthetic purposes."
